INSANIYATHeavy is an understatement! INSANIYAT is a heavy metal band that is all about justice, looking out for family, roots, and the weak. Insaniyat is a hindi word which means justice to humanity. Nicky and Kevin are brothers and together, with their mom, they came up with the name. The two brothers started the band in 2005. Shortly after, Andreas joined, becoming the mastermind of INSANIYATs music and sound. Not too long after that, a friend told the band that he had the perfect drummer, Morris. Insaniyat instantly began writing music and creating riveting chords. The members in the band became brothers with a determined purpose of writing music, playing louder and harder with every new song, and putting Insaniyat on the map in the music world.The members of Insaniyat, for the most part, are from third world countries and they feel that the type of metal they bring to the table makes them Third World Bastards of Metal. Insaniyat is strongly influenced by Soulfly, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Pantera, Chimaira, and Tool. Their debut album will be coming out soon. In the meantime, Insaniyat will be shredding through South Florida at various venues with other excellent local bands.
02/16/2008 Andreas Updating: It's me again, trying to keep everyone posted about what goes on with INSANIYAT. Nothing much has happened with INSANIYAT lately, since we've been pretty busy with our personal lives. This week's breaking news is that Nicky is back in the band, and future rehearsal is schedule for some time soon. Im pretty psyched about it since we haven't play together in like five months. Which looking back sounds like a lot of time. But, what can we do. I already have some riffs in mind, so hopefuly they turned into kick ass songs. I think for now this is enough update. Before I go, I just want to say hi to all our friends down south, Pompano, Ft Laud, Miami and everywhere else people know us. Its being a long time since we've seen some of our good friends, but that doesn't mean you guys are not always present for us, and hopefuly we'll meet soon again.
