SENSE OF BEINGâ„¢

Sense of Being has defined itself as one of the most chaotic and brutal bands to awaken within the bowels of the South Florida music scenein the last few years. Together since 2003, the team of Ernesto Paez (Guitar) Drew Dilullo (Vocals) Rafael Lamardo (Drums) and Earnest Christian (Bass) have come together to create what is known to its loyal followers as S.O.B. Having started at small local venues and bars, the music and the message was sent and well recieved by large scale promoters, management companies, and independant labels through out the state of Florida.
Sense of Being released 'Benevolence' in January, 2005 featuring fan favorites such as "Tears of Phoenix, and Knife to name a few." Sense of Being, being an ever evolving band, started pre-production in mid 2005 to begin work on its first full length album, Viscera. On this album Sense of Being takes an approach on more technical and intricate song writting.
Ernesto pulling out all the stops on his chainsaw ripping guitar riffs, Earnest carving out thicker and more destructive bass lines, Rafael slamming down some of the most impressive and original drums lines, and Drew with his gut wrenching growls and screams followed by an array of melodic singing that will bring you from a bloodfisted fury to an epic and climatic aura.
In the wake of thier assault on the South Florida Scene, S.O.B. has opened and shared the stage which such notable acts such as: Machine Head, Soulfly, Dry Kill Logic, Element Eighty, Devil Driver, Adema, Endo, Trivium, Twelve Tribes, Twisted Method, Strapping Young Lad, Reflux, It Dies Today, and beyond.
As of today SOB is putting the finishing touches on their new album "Viscera" which is slated for a summer 2007 release and that it will once again raise the bar for this up and coming Metal act. Sense of Being will be focusing on local and national tours as well as shopping for Indy and Major label interest that will ignite the metal machine that is Sense of Being.
Drew Dilullo (Vocalist): Drew's vocal style comes from a wide variation of Rock and Roll influence. His ability to go from Growls, to screams, to screeches, and finally to a solid melodic singing voice capable of singing soothing harmonies and blazing high notes has earned him recognition as one of the most diverse vocalists in the South Florida scene.
Ernesto Paez (Guitarist): Ernesto started playing guitar at the age of 13, originally a drummer, Ernesto has a unique love and understanding for all different music catagorys which makes him one of the most talented guitarists in metal music to date. With 10+ years of experience under his belt, he is a driving force behind the wrecking ball that is Sense of Being. Earnest Christian (Bassist): Earnest has been in several projects ranging from studio to live based acts. Having a high level of studio experience, Earnest delivers a great deal of detail orientation to the bands song writting and sound. With a love for all music from Hip-hop, Pop rock, and Metal, his influences allow him to create some of the music filling and groove setting bass lines.
Rafael Lamardo (Drummer): Raf, originally a resident of Venezuela, Rafael came to the United States in persuit of a metal band capable of achieving his dream for success as a musician. Raf's influences range from early 90's grunge to drummers such as Vinny Paul Abbott, Dave Mc Clain of Machine Head, and more. Rafael's cultured drumming adds a very original and solid backbone to the bands lineup.
Sense of Being is currently in the studio recording its first full length album "Viscera" to succeed its '05 counterpart Benevolence. As of now Sense of Being is focusing on the completion of this new record. We will have more information as it comes to light.
