Band Members: "In much the same musical vein, The Garden Party takes to the stage. Two in number, they are pushing a new album called Postcards. Davie and Paul settle into the easy groove that best describes their sound. "My Perfect Day", for example, could easily have fallen off a Blue Nile or Del Amitri album. The big guy's vocals were right on the money and this would certainly be classed as a polished performance. It would be interesting to hear them as a full band as their closing song, "Last Train", had the potential to rattle the rafters." Bluesbunny.com***OUT NOW !!!!!!!!!***

Sunny pop is the order of the day from this Glasgow lot, and who doesn’t want a bit of that to brighten up the winter? Songs like My Perfect Day recall Teenage Fanclub, and even Del Amitri at their best, a delicious blend of musical sunshine and Scottish melancholy. If you’d like to hear more, their debut album Postcards went on sale last month and is available through their MySpace now, and be sure to check them out on their forthcoming Glasgow gigs, including a New Year’s Eve slot at The Universal." ///////
