DJ MATT MUSE. He’s quick on he’s feet, as well as possessing a creative and innovative brain with the gift of rock fostered DJ hands. He multi-tasks at all levels. He’s exuberant and has that unique industry rare quality to keep a house crowd on its feet and dancing. When the pace slows down leave it to the genius of DJ Matt Muse to pick up and motivate the group spirits and keep you moving…
Matt’s love and interest in music started as an infant. Drums soon followed. His Brother Dan (later sound and stage manager for Trapt) got him started and he would jump on Dan’s set at every opportunity. DJ MATT MUSE started by supplying outdoor music events with tons of professional sound equipment and orchestrating events under the umbrella of Surreal Sound. If you ever saw DJ MATT MUSE set up an event, you would know why he’s called Flash.
Importantly, Matt started DJing at 17. Concurrently, he sponsored various profitable raves playing trance music (yes, profitable!) and after College moved in time to break beats and finally house music now. A close friend said he should call himself “DJ MATT MUSE,†since his music “progressed and flowed with the crowd’s energy.†It has come to mean not only a DJ name but a man that can inspire. DJ MATT MUSE's first memorable experience was being booked with Mega Buzz 5 at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds with few people dancing. Within 10 minutes there were 1500 chanting his name. What a Rush! Nine years later the Rush continues!
His music collection is astronomical and he has that magical ear for blending everything from classical to modern rock into a wide variety of upbeat house creations. Confident, he has been greatly influenced by the awe-inspiring D-Fuse who drums and DJ’s simultaneously for a jaw-dropping experience. His Friend Donald Glaude is an absolutely “crazy†DJ with energy that radiates and is truly inspiring.
