DJ Debra is one of the hottest ladies in dance music.In her native Amsterdam she is a very well known dj. For years now she is the resident dj at infamous gay club CockRing in Amsterdam. Debra's dj-sets are most famous for their sexy grooves and funky style house beats.In 2000, Debra teamed up with the well known producers Jaimy & Kenny D, for her first production, 'Jah love', released on Wildlife. Her follow up track 'Radical', was hailed by critics and hammered by Judge Jules for months. It also got featured on his 'Clubbed2' mix compilation. 'Spring', her 3rd, but first production together with Tony Thomas, under the moniker The Producers, came out also on Wildlife in 2002. By then Debra had established her name both Nationally and Internationally.Besides Jaimy & Kenny D, Debra became one of the main contributors to Black Hole’s Wildlife label. In 2003 the label released her CD compilation 'Introducing Wildlife 2003' that featured her productions 'My Bizznizz' and 'Lazy Day'. 2004 saw the release of her single in collaboration with Jaimy 'The Chant' on the New Era label.Debra started a new venture in 2004 by taking over a very succesful record shop which took up most of her time. End of 2007 she decided to close the doors, as the vinyl market became too small and she wasn't able to offer the type of records that she loves the most anymore. Nonetheless it was a great experience which she enjoyed a lot. Now she is back in the studio again and ready to boil up some serious beats.In the meantime she has had another residency at Club Escape in Amsterdam and she performed all over Europe and beyond. She performed at some of the best events in the Netherlands, such as Dancevalley, Chemistry, Impulz and Sensation White. She has traveled to Aruba, Greece, France, Germany, Saoudi Arabia and Egypt to grace their dancefloors with her grooves.One can state that Debra definately delivers the full package: producing & dj-ing. She is one funky lady that will knock anyone's socks off when taking control of the dancefloor, either by her records being played or playing herself!
