DJ Roy Rovelli

Here is a short history of my DJ’ing.
I started DJ'ing when i was 12 and won the Black Tie Ball Co under 18 DJ comp when i was 14. My prize was to be resident at all there events untill i was 18. So started playing at Camden Palace (Now Koko), Middlesex & Herts Country Club and various other clubs around London. At 17 I became the in house DJ for the Q Bar (New Burlington St), one year later i became resident on Friday and Saturday for The Emporium (Now Tantra) and every Thursday @ The Mayfair Club. I worked at both clubs until 2002 - 2003 when they both closed down. During my time at the Mayfair Club i got a chance to DJ for Puff Daddy, Lennox Lewis, Busta Rhymes, Eve to name a few. I was also sent out to St Tropez to DJ at the Mayfair Club party at the V.I.P. Whilst there i did a few sets at La va Rouge one of the best beach clubs in the world... I have also played in a few of the bar's around the port. After my two homes closed down i moved to the Embassy Club for 7 Months then moved to Tantra (Same owner as Emporium, same location, different look) and started working every Thursday and Saturday there. I was also working every Wednesday and Friday at Attica. Durring my time at Attica I Dj'ed at the Eminem Anger Management Tour Party (he did'nt turn up, he was to busy shopping in Paris) 50 Cent and D12 came down (Bizare form D12 requested Vanila Ice, Ice Ice Baby) I eventualy managed to get a chance to DJ for Eminem at the D12 Devils Night Album realese party at No5 Cavendish SQ. For the nights i did'nt work i would be doing guest slots and covering work all over London and have had a chance to play in every top club in London.
