From the world of fashion to the world of media, Jo Sugar has a client list that reads like a celebrity who's who. With names such as Sophie Anderton, Charlotte Church, Alex Best and Lisa Snowdon under her belt, Jo is one of the most sought after make-up artists in the country. She is also a sought after educator lecturing at the Academy of freelance make up artists school and with Desmond Murray including the International Make up Artist Trade Show 2007 (IMATS) with the Desmond Murray Artistic Team about current catwalk trends 'Behind the Runway'.
Jo was the head make up artist on Make me a Supermodel: Extra, and worked closely with Sony BMG to develop an image for new girl band ‘Trinity Stone’ she also works closely with Desmond Murray developing looks for his shows and recently got through to the finals of the British Hair Awards for Desmond in 3 categories. Jo says 'Every job is different, you never stop learning'. As well as studio shoots, Jo is as comfortable on location, having done Ivana Trumps make-up in St Tropez for HELLO! Magazine. She has also done Suzanne Shaws make up for HELLO! Magazine and Scott Henshall and his models for the premier of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Jo Sugar has had a passion for making people beautiful from an early age and studied beauty therapy upon leaving school, she has worked closely with some of the top names in the beauty industry, including Desmond Murray (3 times British hair awards winner and member of The Hall of Fame), celebrity hairdresser Stuart Phillips and celebrity photographer Dez Mighty.
