Dance diva Celeda was born in Chicago; a featured vocalist in the church choir from age seven onward, he later toured with the renowned Cosmopolitan Choir as well. Discovered by House producer Robert Coddington, he was rechristened Celeda and tapped to front the group Heavy Hitters, scoring a series of club hits like "Messin' with My Mind, " "Get It Together" and "I Feel It."
