Im me, and no-one else, who are you ? I live on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, its a pretty magic part of the world down here. This thing called myspace is about my involvement with music and things relative to it, and also my connections to the environment,nature,animals,plants and my keen interest in the power of words. Mon to Fri i work for a plant nursery and spend a lot of time on the road, so a good radio station is important for my sanity. TRIPLE R FM (102.7)is melbournes best community radio station and im proud to be a subscriber. I am concerned with the channel deepening project that our government has forced into our lives & on the environment. Its very disturbing that money always seems to be more important than ANYTHING else, and the fact that there seems to be no financial benefit from the whole project makes it even more insane. I have got into, been inspired and influenced, in some way, and in no particular order by : radiohead,rufus and martha wainwright,nick cave,oleta adams,k.d lang,sting,the police,paul kelly, cousin leonard,jeff buckley,the finn bros,nick drake,tom waits,frank zappa,led zep,ray lamontagne,neil young,weather report,miles davis,sharon jones,stevie wonder,santana,antonio carlos jobim,joe jackson,kurt elling,michael franks,sergio mendes, etc etc......not many styles im not into.

Movies:

Im not into movies much unless they make me laugh, Mel Brooks, Mike Myers, Jim Carey....u know...wacky stuff.

Television:

mm....here we go....Such a huge majority of it is sensationalist, violent and spiritually damaging. Apparently they call this 'entertainment'. It is driven wholly and solely by the advertising dollar, therefore its potential is thwarted and compromised. I believe you are better off not watching..HERES AN IDEA !...talk to your family or friends, go for a walk and look up at some trees or something! Use your imagination. Television COULD be really great,really entertaining, really informative.... but generally, ITS NOT. There is so much more to life !!

Books:

sadly, most of the time all i get to read are road signs, but i love to be moved by words, the good use of words, writing that can create vivid imagery.

Heroes:

Paul Hester,for being an inspiration, and for being himself. R.I.P Paul. Steve Irwin, for bringing the plight, and the beauty of mother nature all over the world, to peoples attention all over the world. R.I.P Steve.
