We believe in EQUAL human rights for ALL people.
We value and support a free, secular and TRULEY democratic society that embraces progressive attitudes towards ALL people.
We believe in Free Speech and Freedom of the Press and encourage, and demand, the right to free expression and the fair and respectful exchange of information and ideas.
We embrace ALL forms of speech even if we do not like that speech, UNLESS such speech perpetuates or incites hatred and/or violence toward ANY person or group of people.
We believe that ALL people deserve to be heard except for when deliberately spreading misinformation, disinformation or are engaged in the oppression of others rights and freedoms.
We believe that LGBT people are complex and whole human beings with interests, desires, issues and concerns that extend far beyond our LGBT status or identity. We therefore will reflect this wholeness in our content. Although our major focus is on, and will continue to be on LGBT issues and ideas, we are not exclusive.
We believe that mainstream media has become more and more homogenized and not reflective of what people need and deserve to know. We therefore will always try to provide, allow and offer as much legitimate alternative sources of information and resources as possible to help counteract this dangerous trend.
We believe that ALL people should have the right to a living wage and freedom from poverty, discrimination, government intrusion, a right to privacy, access to quality healthcare and education and to be and feel safe.
We want to be welcoming to ALL people irrespective of sexual orientation, gender identity, religious or political affiliation, economic or cultural identity, ethnicity or age so long as these core values are respected.
