Hi! I’m Jennifer. :) I’m kind of a novice at self promotion, so I’m not sure how great my myspace experience will be... but I’m attempting this, anyway. Just a few things I think you all should know:

All the instruments you hear? I played them (unless specified otherwise in the song description!)... well, I played them through a keyboard... YES, including percussion. :)
The production? I did some of that, too. But I can’t take credit for all of that, because my boyfriend, Sandy, has a great producer’s ear, as he used to own a studio. He cleans up my productions and tweaks them until they’re nice and smooooth...
Where do I record? In the spare bedroom in my house! (My "studio" is building, but it started as just a computer, Cakewalk software, Acid FX, plugins, a semi-pro portable keyboard, microphone, and mic preamp.) Gigs? Well, I’d like to have them, but considering I don’t have a band, I’ll have to work up a one-woman thing... it could happen... hopefully in the not-so-far future!

Now that all that’s out of the way, I can simply smile and say, "Thanks for stopping by!!! Please add me!" (Shameful, ain’t I?!) :)

Bigger Plans
This is my American Idol Songwriter competition submission for 2008. I actually submitted it last year, but it was just me and piano. :) This year I wanted to do it right (no matter what they say, production does matter). So the last few days have been spent putting everything ELSE to the track. You’ll hear my Sandy on bass and guitar and his friend, the outstanding Paul Brunett, on drums (we drove a total of six hours to lay down the drums and mixed it all at home the next day -- how cool!). I really hope you like it. It was written from the (hypothesized, lol) perspective of the person taking home the American Idol "crown." :) Those of you who know about my American Idol audition know that I would not truly know how an AI winner would feel... ;) ...but this is what I imagine they’d feel. And it’s how I feel about those who support me and my music, in general -- so it’s a song for YOU, too. :)

This will be on the upcoming album, "Sonic Revelation." Be lookin’ for this album early 2008. TIM, I AM SORRY (!!) I removed this one before. That was inconsiderate. :( It’s back now. You don’t have to put it on your page again, but I felt it HAD to go back up here out of respect for YOU! I apologize for my oversight. :(

Fair Weather
This will also be on the upcoming album, "Sonic Revelation." Look for it early 2008!!! Too much to say about this song right now. Just listen and enjoy... hope you don’t identify too much... *sigh*
