Pacific is making major waves in the global drum n bass scene. His musically rugged sound has received extensive support from Ed Rush, Matrix, Bad Company, Pendulum, Doc Scott and Dieselboy as well as radio exposure from Bailey, Friction, Flight, L Double and Sappo. Early tunes “Auto Funk”, “Another Place” and “Inferno” received critical acclaim and announced the arrival of a major new talent in dnb. In 2005, dancefloors rumbled with the weight of “Centepod” (w/ Noisia and Mayhem) and “In Effect” (w/ Psidream), two darkside crushers with a funky edge, while lush remixes for house luminaries Danny Howells and Lee Cabrera had the heads noddin’ and bodies swervin’. Fast forward to the present and Pacific has delivered a long-awaited EP for DSCI4, singles for 1210 and Uprising and a devastating bootleg of “Welcome to Jamrock” that has smashed crowds across the globe. Forthcoming releases include “Memory Fades” on BC Presents as well as the monstrous “Terra Firma”, another collab with Psidream and the debut of the pair’s Nightfall Recordings. A DJ’s DJ, Pacific runs the ruff with the smooth, the tough with the funky, whatever it takes to keep the dancefloor locked and movin’, never failing to set the vibe right.
