I live & breath music! Since "Walk This Way" by Run Dmc first aired on Televison, I knew that turntables and scratching were going to be intergral part in my musical existance. Many years later around 1991 I had the opportunity to have my first go on Technic 1200's. learning to beat match and scratch records alongside friends Kolm and Nicky Delgado... After a couple years of deliberation I finally bought turntables after a trip to europe left me with 60 shiny new records and nothing to play them on... After a year of learning and odd gigs I headlined my first mainroom gig on Halloween of 1994 in Calgary for Nocturnal Grooves.
I later moved to Vancouver in 1996 to fullfill my dreams of playing to a wider audience. Thanks to Andy B and Matty Pacific for helping me keep it real (head butts at least)
Since then I have moved back and forth between Edmonton and Vancouver a couple of times. The last was for my recent certificate in Audio Engineering and Sound Design...
During my meaningful career I've helped pave the way for Jungle and Drum and Bass in Western Canada with djing and promotions... I have also had a great number of successes with it from headlining main rooms with up to 7000 Junglists to playing with the worlds best MC - Fearless... I've also had the pleasure of playing alongside/opening for such greats as Andy C, DJ Hype, Kenny Ken, Darren Jay, Nicky Blackmarket, Ray Keith, Shy FX, Rap, Pacific, Phantasy, Ink, Wildchild, Mystical Influence, Amon Tobin, Aphrodite, Ruffneck, Sniper, Perfect Combination, Footloose, Visionary, AK1200, Rahzel, Jungle Brothers, Qbert, MixMasterMike, Swamp, Atrak, Craze, Vinroc, GQ, Skibadee, Flux, AD, Shabba D, DeadlyMC , Armanni, Foxy, Effect...
