I'm Special ED, OldSkool Breakbeat Hardcore, Jungle and D&B DJ from Victoria BC Canada, now living in Vancouver BC. I have been DJ'ing for about 12 years now. I started playing records in 1996, had my first club booking in '97 without ever even having played on 1200's. About a year later I hooked up with John Beaumier founder of Whitebird Records and Apperal in Victoria B.C. John started a weekly at a club called The Limit where I hooked up with Optimus and Destro. The three of us were rotating residents of the Monday night "Low Down". After that I had residences at Hush night club, "Rewind" put on by Ground Level Productions and "Bounce" put on by the 420 Kru. Now that I have moved to Vancouver I have had three residencies at different clubs around Vancouver. I am now a resident DJ at Republic on Tuesday's alongside Matty Pacific and DJ Soda. I have had a few internet radio show during that time "The Whitebird Audio Sessions" on www.universalgroove.com, "Light It Up" on www.breakpirates.com and www.stressfactor.co.uk and "Special Education Fridays" on www.stressfactor.co.uk
