Sin of Sloth

Biography
Originally known as The Five Fingers of Jules and Arthur, Sin of Sloth was formed in Sacramento on January 16th of the year 1920 as the age of prohibition began. Law-abiding travelling salesmen Jules Tripp and Arthur Craw desired something new to do with their spare time, and so Five Fingers was born.
Consisting of Arthur on clarinet, and Jules playing the bass oboe, the act caught on quicker than either man could have anticipated, and despite the original reason for the formation of the band, Five Fingers was soon found playing in speakeasies all over the state.
A mere three years following, the two men agreed that it had been a good run, and the band went through an amicable split. The men went their separate ways, with Jules starting up his own bookbinding business, and Arthur training to compete in the State Canoeing Championships. Both were highly successful. Threadbare Books ended up being worth a small fortune, and Mr. Craw advanced to the World Championships, eventually placing third.
Briefly contemplating a reunion, Jules and Arthur eventually decided simply to pass the band on to a pair of successors. As fortune would have it, John Expletive Wendtworth and Killian Rust strolled past the right park bench at the right time, and became the new members of Five Fingers, which was then renamed Sin of Sloth.
With Jules and Arthur's blessing, John and Killian decided to round out their sparse sound with a backing band of four re-animated skeletons, who were put in charge of percussion and backup vocals.
The group found their first few gigs at local campfires, and spent the rest of their time performing illegally on the street for nickels. Their ascent was slow, but years of persistence paid off in the year 2024, when they added their seventh member - an unopened but slightly dishevelled can of cream of mushroom soup.
They never looked back.
