About Me

Hello, I'm Toby / Joga . Been mixing dnb about 3 years, and eventually I hope to branch out into other genres, especially leftfield hip-hop. I have previously played regularly in Durham (clubnight and parties), and have since moved to Leeds, getting a few bookings and playing a few parties too. A full list of nights I've played at is on the left-hand side . I am getting a few more bookings here and there, so decided to open this music account and close my old page. Have also helped with a bit of promotion in both Durham and Leeds.
As far as drum & bass goes, I'm into a lot of tough liquid, dubwise, deep and soulful tech, some dark and twisted shit, drumfunk, and a lot more besides . I'm also very much interested in jungle and older stuff and I'm learning all the time, but don't have the time or money at the moment to be collecting both upfront and classic vinyl, so obviously have to make sacrifices. A lot of producers/DJs I'm currently feeling are in the 'Influences' section, along with some non-dnb stuff I'm into, and there are a lot of established and up-and-coming producers I rate in my Friend Space as well, so check them out.
I aim to start producing in the not-too-distant future as well, so expect to see/hear some beats here eventually. I had a few tunes by friends up here and it led to much confusion and people complimenting me on them, so I've taken them out. Alas, production-wise, I am currently talentless. One day soon!

You can hear myself Joga playing back2back with DJ Osiris every Saturday from 11am until 1pm on Frequency 88.1FM around West Yorkshire, or streaming online via Leeds Drum & Bass (click the image). You can pretty much get what we're about by listening to this. Dope.
I will be updating my blog regularly with new mixes, news, top tens, photos, and anything else I fancy sticking in there.
My old page is still up and running HERE . Do with it what you will.
Huge list of Internet & pirate radio stations can be found HERE . Pretty extensive.
Peace
