My joystick is bigger than yours!

About Me

Quality is not measured in bytes, but rather in character. Born in 1977, the Atari 2600 defined an entire generation of kids, and inspired a world of wonder in all. It was the virtual catalyst for home-based, technological entertainment. The "Star Wars" of video games, if you will. Yet, as with "Star Wars", the character and influence of video games has since been sold out for high quality graphics and more and more megabytes of information, piled into smaller and smaller systems, with the ever-increasing limitlessness of all themes good and bad. Sadly, these game systems lack the true nature of what made the Atari 2600 a household name, and a true icon of the video game revolution. One of the very staples of the best decade to have grown up in.

So put down that 12-button controller for that Nintendo/Sega/Playstation 6000-Super-Duper *PLUS* Edition, and traval back in time with single-bit technology! A time when video games were not a world unto themselves, but a gateway to a world within ourselves. :)
