"Biography"
Born into a musical family, it was never going to be long before Nickky Miller would end up sinking his teeth into the world of music, but it was the influence of his uncle and UK Subs drummer Steve Roberts that left the biggest imprint on the young Nickky. Caught up in the attraction of smashing drum kits nightly he stepped behind his first kit aged 16 and never looked back. As a young punk tupthumper the skills were already there and with only a few years under his belt he had already joined high octane rock n' rollers Kid Ego, slayed the globe on a brutal touring schedule and had recorded a stellar debut album under the hand of Kaiser Chiefs producer Will Jackson. Smashing toms in the UK, breaking snares across the US and crashing cymbals in every European port, there really has been no stopping him since he first picked up the sticks. Immensely gifted and with the ability to enterain as well as kick ass on the kit, Nickky Miller can place himself amongst the hottest youngsters playing drums today.,br. Add on top of that, appearances in Drummer Magazine, praise from musicians and music press across the world and the fact he is still only in his teens, and you'll see why everyone is raving about york's own Nickky Miller.Lee Benecke

"The Man Behind The Music"
Will Jackson (producer of the Kaiser Cheifs, The Music and Embrace talks about NICKKY MILLER in a featured magazine..."I did a session with a young band called Kid Ego, it's a terrible name, but the drummer is 15 and he's been playing for 10 months and he's Phenomenal. He's all self-taught and he had never been in a studio before, I thought 'these people are potentially amazing and they dont know it' "
