THE FINAL OF BATTLE OF THE BANDS 06 CERT 18 8pm. The night is sold out - ticket entry only and at the time of doors opening, the place is packed out with fans from every band plus a few curious music fans wanting to see a great night of live music. Dysfunction kicked the night off in brilliant metal style. The band has one of the strongest fan bases in the city and they turned out tonight to support their metal heroes. Cracking heavy riffs and a great bond with the audience bring Dysfunction out of their shell and they explode all over the heavily drilled ears of the crowd. Too early to start a mosh pit? Nonsense.
"On sight Dysfunction look like a Bullet For My Valentine tribute in training (WHAT?!?), namely due to the lead singers uncanny resemblance to Matt Tuck (WHAT?!?!??!). But on sound its clear to tell this band can stand entirely on their own two feet as far as song craft and live performance go. technical skill mixed with energetic and engaging performance keep the crowd intrested, and it was nice to finaly see a metal front man who looked like ge was genuinely having a good time. a much welcomed return indeed for Dysfunction to Cert and one that'll hopefully see these guys take to many more stages in the near future."
