Well... My name is Justin Gilbert. I'm an Atlanta native , son of a pastor , easy-going kat , with GREAT work ethic. Music happens to be my profession , my hobby , and my passion. I began playing drums at age 2 and piano at age 6. After studying/experimenting with the cello , orchestral percussion , and a couple of other instruments , I found that the music inside me could be expressed truly ,on piano. This music "thing" has afforded me many incredible opportunities. I've worked with an array of artists including , most recently: Jill Scott , with whom I'm currently touring . Ciara , Tank , Monica , Toni Braxton , Stephanie Mills , Chaka Kahn ,and Jean Carne , just to name a few . On the gospel side of things I'm currently doing production/"M.D"ing B.Chase Williams and Shabach's set .Check out the Brand new album entitled "RELEASED" coming 2008 (Worldwide).I've accompanied artists including: Donnie McClurkin , Juanita Bynum , Byron Cage , Kim Burrell , Men of Standard , and LaShun Pace , to name a few. It is my goal to make music that engages the listener , effectively captures the emotion of the lyrics ,and provide strong musical accompaniment that makes the artist comfortable. My latest production works are Edward Buckley and Unity In Spirit's "Trust God" album , Shun Pace's "Complete" album (EMI) , Cecil Thornton and Transparent's "Live Simplicity", Contrell Jones "Praiseocity" record , and T.Lynn Smith's "Just Praise & Worship" album.
