I'm a cool, simple, laid back type chick. You either roll with me or get rolled over. I am not into games and stupidity. I love to enjoy life and don't mind having folks around who want to enjoy it with me. If that's not you, then move around, cuz I don't have the time. Life is too short. I am as real as they come. What you see is what you get, so I hope you don't have any weird expectations of what you think a person like me should be. I'm a woman of strength, character and integrity...but still crazy, loveable and a down chick. I've learned that I don't have to have "I serve THE true and living God" tattooed on my forehead to get my point across. Ya feel me?As for my gifts, currently I am an alto with the local ministry of Dru Johnson & Neo PraiZe (we do mostly praise & worship). I can sing ALL 3 parts and I play 2 instruments (piano & alto saxophone). I am an ordained minister, "semi" producer (LOL), vocalist, writer, and arranger. At this point in my life, I am in the process of learning to be skillful at playing other musical instruments (bass, guitar and drums) to increase my marketability and open up even more doors for opportunity. I intend to use my gifts to point others to Christ and build the Kingdom of God.I also play keys for a cover band called Space City Funk. I am always on the lookout for new opportunities, whether it be playing keys or singing background vocals for local artists, in order to sharpen my skills. Use it or lose it! My Interests

Music, literature, beauty, fashion, anything that has to do with making dollars or else it just doesn't make sense!

I am using MySpace as a means to network and meet people who are in my profession or share my interests.

Music:

Music is in my blood...My listening tastes include Gospel (my first love), Jazz (my second love), R&B, some rap, soul, Crunk & B, Neo Soul...just about anything really. Man, I have madd luv for these H-Town artists who are doing it big. Big Ups to Dru Johnson & Neo PraiZe, Nakitta, my boy G Mayes (I love his music!!!), Nikki Ross (girl you got some crazy runs!), James Fortune & FIYA (boy I remember the days you guys were YFC **smile**). I just grew up listening to whatever I could get my hands on. My favorite gospel artists are the Clark Sisters, Israel & New Breed, Tye Tribbett & GA, just to name a few. As for my current favorite R&B act, it would have to be Mint Condition, hands down!!! Next in line are Jill Scott & Angie Stone. If we go old school, you know it's those Isley Brothers, no doubt.

Movies:

I love all types of movies, whether it be drama, action or comedy. But my all-time favorites are scary movies!! However, if I had to name my absolute favorite movies, they would be Brown Sugar, The Five Heartbeats (I hear you laughing!!), Harlem Nights (I love Redd Foxx & Richard Pryor) and School Daze.

Television:

I love sitcoms and shows of that nature. I also enjoy shows like Law & Order and CSI (all of them).

Books:

I have a wide range of reading interests--from T.D. Jakes and Drs. I.V. and Bridget Hilliard, to Maya Angelou. I am a poetry fanatic. I also love to read good novels. Ssshhh! Don't tell anyone that I'm an Eric Jerome Dickey fan, LOL. Lately, my reading interests have shifted to things more of a motivational/positive nature, especially books on success in business.
