Anointed by God at the age of 12, Dru Johnson answered the call of God and began his ministry as Minister of music at the Back to God Revival Holiness Church; Where he was there being shepherded by his father Apostle A. S. Johnson Jr. Since the time of Dru's humble beginning God elevated him to new heights as he served at the New Oasis of Faith Church for four years and held his positions as Elder and Minister of music. From there Dru Johnson with his wife and three children were led by God to receive an assignment being Minister of music and Youth Pastor at the West Point Baptist Church in Galveston TX. Allowing his gift to make room for him, Dru has had the esteemed privilege of working with several artists on various projects; and in doing so he has been able to travel the states ministering Jesus through his music. Not only does Dru play multiple instruments, he's also one of Gods anointed song writers, arrangers and composers.With a God driven passion and desire to WORSHIP, Elder Dru Johnson places special emphasis on Praise and Worship and the importance of invoking the presence of the almighty God. In 2003 God birthed a new ministry in the spirit of Elder Johnson. DRU Johnson & NEO PPAIzE a group of hand picked worshippers understanding the call to a higher realm of praise.The ministry of DRU Johnson has touched the lives of many over the years, that is why we now celebrate the gift that god has given; the Minstrel DRU Johnson.
