Evangelist Toni Harris
"Lord have mercy", is what you hear resounding as she leaves the sanctuary. Toni holds nothing back, when she ministers the word of God by singing or preaching. With a soul stirring message, her voice sends chills up and down your spine. Toni has a sound with a hard hitting traditional base that sends the message of the gospel soaring directly into the hearts of young and old everywhere. Toni has one goal, and that is that souls will be touched and lives changed through her music ministry.A native Houstonian she began singing at the age of 10 and is no stranger to the gospel scene. This gospel diva is a product of the Gospel Music Workshop of America and was featured as a lead singer on "There Is No Limit", with the GMWA Mass Choir, which was recorded in Philadelphia, written by Isadore Jackson. She has also appeared at the Potter's House for Take It to the Bridge 2002, where she sang her arrangment of What Is This? Toni is known internationally as well. She has served as lead singer for the Voices of Gospel, who tours in Germany, France, and Italy for the past 8 years.Inspired by the scripture, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen", Toni financed and produced both her albums, one entitled "Toni Harris", and the other entitled, "Advertise Jesus". The lyrics written on both her albums, give a message of hope, life, and deliverance. God has truly endowed Toni with His anointing. She shows her love for singing, and most importantly, her love for the Lord.Toni has shared the stage with gospel artist such as: Evangelist Beverly Crawford, Kathy Taylor-Brown, Chester D.T. Baldwin, Rev. Milton Biggham, Rev. Marvin Sapp, Carnell Murrell, Kim Burrell, Gaye Arbuckle, Mona Moore, Evangelist Media Cole, Carolyn Traylor, John P. Kee, Betty Griffin Keller, Ricky Dillard, Rev. Shawn McClemore, V. Michael Mckay, and many others. Known as "Thumper" she has played the drums for many gospel greats as well. Her beats can be heard on DFW Mass Choir on the song entitled "Don't Give Up", written by her mother .In conclusion, it is important that you know that Toni Harris is not about fortune or fame, but about the lives that are touched for the Glory of God.
