Dr. COMO from his earliest musical experiences has performed with some of the most accomplished professionals in the Music Industry. He has been graced to share his gifts and talents with all who have the ears and the eyes of their hearts open to the spiritual uniqueness of his style. His sensitivity and love for the art has enabled him to express the very essence of what life is all about:

Dr. COMO has recorded with some of the finest individuals of today, and as he would say "Special moments are for remembrance." Soul Legend, Mr Issac Hayes, Denise Neil, Frank McComb, John Gibson, Byron Caine, Norman Brown, David Romero, Ron Powell, Kenny Hudson, Walter Rodrigues, James Cornwell, Al Campbell, Sergio Tuxson are just a few to mention that he has been blessed to share a note or two.
Dr. COMO has always been moved by the intense and intricate rhythms of Africa, the Motherland. His interest in sounds and their healing effect on all that it touches drives him beyond the norm, using his creativity to bring out the hidden joy in others: "Let your light shine, so all may see"
Dr. COMO has performed with and supervised some of the industries' leading percussionists in the award winning parade "The Lion King" at Disneyland in Anahein, CA. He has also participated in many other Disney events: The Ronald McDonald House Charity awards banquets, Chicago, IL; The Black History Parade in Santa Anna, CA and The Disneyland attraction "Indiana Jones." He has appeared in various commercials and in the CBS networks' Thanksgiving and Christmas Specials.
Dr. COMO has toured extensively in Europe and South America as a percussionist with Mr. Issac Hayes from the Montreaux Jazz Festival, in Switzerland to the Free Jazz Festival in Brazil. He also spent a short stint with African born producer/songwriter Shakara, in France.
Currently Dr. COMO is redefining himself to include Painting and Poetry. He also has two books that he is presently working on: "Psalms From Behind the Wall," and "Awaken From Slumber." As of date, you may find Dr. COMO sharing his form of artistry at many of Houston's fine Jazz venues with Dean James, Ken Mondshine, Chris Walker, Axel Dlover, Monica Rose, Byron Caine, Jimmy Hunter, Allen Dorsett, Dave Marcellin, Julie Johnson, Jamie Casco, Jay Hollander, Loyld Hudges, Cloris Grimes, Ronnie S., Frank McComb, Austin Biel, Joe Sample, Andrew Lienhard, Mike Reed, Jaward, Lawrence Overshuan, Mark Dini, James Al Garner, Mark Simmons, Patrick Williams, Skip Nallia, George Coward, Frank McComb and many other great players the south has to offer.
