Oklahoma City, OK based gospel recording group Unity In Spirit, (U.I.S) was founded in 1998. Unity In Spirit is predestined by God to serve through song the world, endeavoring to render pure worship to the Lord. This ministry has over time, become a viable unit in the state of Oklahoma. Edward Buckley & Unity In Spirit have been blessed to share the stage with reputable Gospel Artist such as Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark, Pastor Timothy Wright, Smokie Norful, Kevin Davidson and the Voices, Carolyn Traylor, Myron Butler and Levi, Lisa McClenden, Venessa Bell Armstrong, Mary Mary, Lucinda Moore, Wayman Tisdale, Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson, Albertina Walker, Myron Williams, VaShawn Mitchell and others.

They've ministered on major platforms such as Bobby Cartwright's Gospel Superfest 2005 "New Artist Showcase", Brooklyn, NY and placed 3rd in that competition. Additionally, they were afforded the opportunity to minister at the historical and sacred Mason Temple Church as well as the Temple of Deliverance Church where the late Bishop G. E. Patterson reigned as pastor, during the national meeting of the Holy Convocation of the Churches Of God In Christ in Memphis, TN; 2001 and 2005. Unity In Spirit took the platform at the "I Hear Music" Conference in Cincinnati, OH 2006. Moreover, Unity In Spirit has been a regular force at the Texas Announcers Guild due to invitation. They also took the stage at the Gospel Music Workshop Of America, 2006 in Dallas, TX.

In 1999 the group recorded their first album entitled, "His Promise" which received moderate local success. In 2004 Unity In Spirit released their sophomore project, "Open For Discussion” which experienced international buzz. In 2007, this ensemble recorded their latest project entitled Psalm 126:5 "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy"...(Trust God). With a power packed set of professional musicians, Justin Gilbert, MD; who produced LaShaun Pace latest album "Complete", Darrell Freeman, Bassist; who is featured on Marvin Sapp's project "Diary of a psalmist", Shaun Martin, Organ/ Auxiliry Keyboard;who is MD for Kirk Franklin, Mo'Horns, horns; who are featured with artist such as Fred Hammond and James Hall & Worship and Praise, Mark Strowbridge, Guitar;who has played with Ricky Dillard and New G and Willie Peterson Jr, Drummer; the project delivers energy, uniqueness, and anointed praise. Finally, Unity In Spirit Continues to make strides in the direction of kingdom mandate.
