Profile Edited by MySpace LayoutsULTIMA CORSA------------------------------------------------------- ----------------L’Ultima Corsa è un trio modenese che suona pezzi propri composta da: Matteo Penta (basso-seconda voce),Riccardo Giacobazzi (Batteria),Gianni Zagaglia (chitarra-voce) . La band ha avuto la possibilità di suonare nella piazza della cattedrale di SARAJEVO assieme a due band arrivate dal medio oriente in occasione dei dieci anni dalla fine degli scontri armati nella città Bosniaca. L’Ultima Corsa si è poi esibita dal vivo in Piazza del Municipio a Ferrara, in piazza del municipio a Fiorano (in apertura ad Alberto Camerini) , nella Piazza del Castello a Formigine e nei principali locali della provincia di Modena come il VIBRA , il PEOPLE, La Tenda, (anche in versione unplugged)... ecc. Nell’ottobre 2005 registrano il “demo” intitolato “Per tutti i non addetti ai favori” contenente quattro pezzi : Barra Barra, Verde, Città che muore, e Sbattuta. Il 2006 ha visto due grandi soddisfazioni per la band che ha avuto la possibilità di esibirsi dal vivo sul prestigioso palco del “Barby club” di TEL AVIV,in Israele, che il 30 settembre 2006 ha ospitato Mark Lanegan con i “Twilight Singers”, e in GROENLANDIA all’interno del rockfestival più a nord del mondo, l’NRF (Nipiaa Rock Festival).IN luglio l’Ultima Corsa ha partecipato a “FRICTION!” l’importante rassegna che ha visto ospiti “Paolo Benvegnu”, “Marta sui Tubi”, ”Yuppie Flu”. IL 2007 si apre con il concerto di capodanno al VIBRA. Dopo una intensa e fortunata serie di live, il brano "BarraBarra" viene scelto come colonna sonora del festival FIUMI DI MUSICA2007 e trasmesso ripetutamente in diverse radio locali.Il festival è concluso con un bellissimo concerto ULTIMACORSA+ gli amici MARTASUITUBI.----------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------Biography----------------------------- -------------------------------------------------Ultima Corsa is a trio. Ultima Corsa are: Matteo Penta (bass voice) Riccardo Giacobazzi (drums percussions) Gianni Zagaglia (voice guitar) The band ,born in a garage-studio, tried to give some order into its long acid sessions from where everithing started in Decamber 2004, They had a show in the cathedral square of SARAJEVO the 30 of September 2005 during the celebrations for the ten years since the balcanic war ends. Ultima Corsa played in several square around Modena also opening for adfirmed artists and in some pubs and partys By the end of October recorded the demo “Per tutti i non addetti ai favori” containing 4 songs :Barra Barra, Verde, Città che muore, e Sbattuta. The 2006 has been a great opportuniy’s year: Ultima Corsa played on the amazing stage of the “Barby club” in TEL AVIV, Israel, where Mr Mark Lanegan and the “Twilight Singers” played in August. The other big Tour lead the band to the Northest Rockfestival in the world: the NRF (Nipiaa Rock Festival)in GREENLAND with international and local famous artists.
