Post-. -Stop. Tutto pur di non guardare avanti. Perché non vogliamo responsabilità e non sappiamo invecchiare. E allora il trucco è cominciare a chiamare nuovo il vecchio, sperando che funzioni anche su noi stessi. Ma, purtroppo, noi il trucco non lo abbiamo imparato bene. Ci siamo scelti il passato sbagliato cui aggrapparci. Troppo introverso per riempire le piste. Troppo sguaiato per sedurre le ragazze. Troppo recente per (ri)venderlo ai ragazzini. Tra cinque anni, chissà. Oggi, per noi è comunque troppo tardi o troppo presto. Approfittiamo della nostra inattualità, sapendo che per un po' non correremo il rischio di essere masticati, ingoiati ed espulsi nel giro di un riff da chi decide cosa è figo e cosa no. E continuiamo a fare quello che ci viene meno peggio. Rumore di stomaco, gola e sudore. La nostra guerra già persa. Il nostro piano di fuga al buio. La nostra illusione di un'eterna giovinezza.

ENG - The copy of a copy. Disillusioned. Scared. Heads turning backwards. We have something for these years, because we look alike. Sequels and comebacks. Recoveries and quotations. Transpositions and remakes. Post-. -Stop. Everything, as long as you don't have to look ahead. Because we want no responsibilities, we just can't get older. And the trick then is to start calling new the old, with a hope that it'll work on ourselves too. But, sadly, we haven't learned the trick so well. We picked the wrong past to hold on to. Too introverted to fill up the dancefloors. Too coarse to get the girls. Too recent for it to be (re)sold to the kids. In five years time, who knows. Today, for us it's too late or too soon, either ways. We take advantage of our outdatedness, being aware that for some time we won't be risking being chewed, swallowed and thrown out in the time of a riff by those who say what's cool and what's not cool. And we carry on doing what we do less worse. Noise from the stomach, throat and sweat. Our war already lost. Our getaway plan blinded. Our illusion of endless youth.
