About Me

The italian band THE SOVRAN was born in 1997. At the beginning, the band played as a cover band performing stuff such as MOTORHEAD and others punk-metal'n roll bands. In 1998 THE SOVRAN released the first demo-tape "Black Rock" and after that release the band decided to stop.THE SOVRAN was reformed in 2003 and released the second demo-cd "Hooligans", getting amazing feedback from fans and magazines. In the successive years they released some promo cd: "Cobra"(2004), "Secret Agent"(2005).In the summer 2007 the band released the 9tx promo-cd "City Kills". The new sound is a personal mixture of all their influences, from high energy rock'n roll to punk to gothic 'n wave."....probably sounds like motorhead meeting killing joke" - Anthon 2006 theSOVRAN "hell yeah"
