Tout débuta à l'été 2004, quand Simon Charette, Sébastien Audet, Christian Poulin et Charles Fontaine décidèrent de fonder un groupe de death métal mélodique,Wrecked Mind. Vers la fin de l'année 2004 le groupe s'effondra puisque 3 de ses membres (Christian Poulin, Sébastien Audet et Simon Charette) mirent fin au projet pour faire revivre Descend Into nothingness. Finalement le groupe D.I.N poussa son dernier souffle à la fin 2005. Par la suite, Francis Beaulieu, Simon Charette, Christian Poulin et Sébastien Audet entamèrent en cette année 2006 un nouveau projet nommé Archons. De plus le groupe a enregistré 2 chansons promo (Delusional Beliefs et Plague of Corruption) avec Pascal Letendre. Un album complet est prévu pour le début 2007.
All began in the summer of 2004 when Simon Charette, Sébastien Audet, Christian Poulin and Charles Fontaine decided to start a death metal band called Wrecked Mind. At the end of 2004 the band had a change of heart because 3 of it's members (Christian Poulin, Sébastien Audet and Simon Charette) left to revive another band named Descend into nothingness. Finally D.I.N gave up for personal reasons in the year of 2005. Afterwards Francis Beaulieu, Simon Charette, Christian Poulin and Sébastien Audet gave birth to the project who now wears the name of Archons. The band has also recorded 2 promo songs (Delusional Beliefs, Plague of Corruption) with Pascal Letendre. A full debut album should be coming in 2007.
