Whatever's Clever is Totally Whatever

About Me

The Plurals are a three piece rock band from the Lansing, MI area that started in spring 2004. All three of them sing and sometimes they switch instruments, but a classic power trio approach of guitar, bass, and drums is applied at almost all times. They've toured the midwest and the east coast a few times and released a number of EPs and various recordings, with their "official" album "Professor Nanners" coming out in spring 2007 on the Good Time Gang Recordings imprint. The Plurals believe completely in the power of the indepent artist and listening to them ramble about their ethics is a lot like reading a Fugazi interview or something, although not nearly as focused, consistent, or coherent. The Plurals don't really like genre classifications but they've been known to listen to lots of punk, alternative rock (the early 80s to mid 90s kind), oldies, grunge, early new wave, garage rock, shoegaze, some classic rock, some goth, some metal and various powerpop whatnot among others, so one can infer their sound is somewhere in the middle of all that. The Plurals love music and the beauty of life that can be appreciated through pure artistic expression, so listen if you wish. We'll be playing either way.
