..My dad used to ride me around on his bike......(there was no helmit law then.....lol) THERE IS NOTHING LIKE RIDING UP HWY 88.......THE SUN ON MY SKIN, THE WIND IN MY FACE!!! I WILL NEVER FORGET THE FIRST TIME I RODE MY MOTORCYCLE!!! PURE HEAVEN!! TRUE FREEDOM!!!!! I AM SO THANKFUL TO HAVE BEEN GIVEN THAT CHANCE TO "FEEL" WHAT I HAD BEEN DREAMING OF FOR SO MANY YEARS!!!! MY FIRST "SOLO" RIDE TOOK ME UP THE ALTIMONT....ON A FRIDAY NIGHT....WITH A BUNCH OF GREAT PEOPLE. I thank you for that!!!!!................................ I also have this overwhelming NEED to "HELP AMERICA LOOK BEAUTIFUL". NO, not picking up trash on the highways...nor fishing cans out of the streams. I am on my own quest, to help Americas' people look better!! MAKE-UP AND HAIR. is there anything else?

I havd has so many influences!!!!!!Anywhere from Classical, Jazz, Japanese, Blues, Christian, Rock, Country...............LOTS & LOTS of music. My mother started me with the "Suzuki method" of learning how to play music by ear...... both the violin & the piano when i was only 3. Over the years.. I was asked to play Many times in the "BACH" Festival.....Playing both instruments in seperate catagories. i even came in first on the piano....and got one of my first chances to be on T.V. ..... At the time....i did not know how music would save my life!!!. But as i have gotten older, i am very Blessed to have been given such a wonderful beginning in music at such a young age!!! In school......i was of course...in choir...and took 1 year of singing. At the time, my stage fright......was over whelming!!!!so i went back to my instruments. Thru the years, I have written many lyrics & poetry...that i had hoped would one day be turned into a song.....but to this point in time, i have only written 2 musical pieces...both, that are without words......they sit waiting for the right time !!! Some of my favorite artists are: Selah....WYNONNA JUDD...Stevie Nicks...Finding Stella, Mahalia Jackson, Joss Stone, Etta James, Bille Holliday, Greg Barker & Highway 61, Susan Tedeschi, Aimee Mann, Nora Jones, Johnny Lang, Eric Clapton, Mr. & MRS. Tim Mcgraw, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, Kd Lang, The Staple Singers, Tracy Chapman, Martina Mcbride..........

We really don't watch a lot of television!!! we have way too much going on in our lives, but when we do sit down and relax.......we tend to watch "The Sopranos", Dr. Phil, Oprah, Cathouse...we watch a lot of documentries. My hunny watches the History channel alot. As for me............. GAC, VH1, AMC...................all thangs music!!!!!!!!!

She is what epitimizes the words....."strong" "beautiful"!! My mother is what "WOMAN" is all about! She has been thru MANY trials in her life/career.......yet she came out of it eloquently!! With Falling in love with all of those "sick & dieing" babies that she has taken care of thru the years......being responsible for their little lives must have been such an enormous thing to deal with! God has brought to our family, many little souls to keep alive......and she has ALWAYS done an amazing job of loving them selflessly........& giving everything she had.........to try and give them some kind of happiness!! My mother........IS the "ULTIMATE" MOTHER!!!!! I can only imagine how she has felt trying to keep these little ones alive for as long as she could......knowing full wellthey ALL had a short life expectancy. As her daughter.......I KNOW THAT SHE HAD TO HURT!!!!! but she NEVER fell apart!! she was strong in front of me.......I think she felt as if she had to be! I thank my dear mama for that!!!! She used to sing a song to me when it was just she & I living together..........alone. The song went somthing like this....."it's just me & you against the world"........ I always loved that!! I am sooo blessed to have been given her as my MOTHER!!!!#2 HERO......My FATHER..Kenn Smith....... We have been given the "GIFT" for our paths to come together again, so that we my travel down this road.......hand in hand. It took 35 years, for me to "REALLY" understand what a wonderful man he is!! I am so thankful for his ability to teach me "respect". Respect for myself.......thru watching him live his daily life......I have somehow begun to find "MY SELF"!!! He has given the chance to find my own "VOICE", both musically & verbally......he handed me a microphone and asked me to sing.!! With this, came a desire to open my heart to the world outside. I had closed myself off from knowing true "freedom". When i sing....i feel free!!! When i feel "free"...i feel "love"!! when i feel "love"..i feel "GOD".......For this, I am so thankful!!!!HERO #3.......My dear husband Bill. I cannot share with you the amount of love i have for this man!! The LOVE that he has brought into my life..............He has showed me true "un conditional" love!! I was in a damaged place emotionally.....My dear husband, has brought a new and wonderful world for me to experieince. I truly am able to "KNOW WHat love is". He teaches me, every day, thru his example, how to love, how to give of oneself unselfishly. How to look at things in a "positive" light.....!!! How to "NOT" hold judgment for someone> He lives with dignity & integrity....and most of all he is a truly "HONEST" man, just like his father, Roy. I am so blessed to have this man in my arms!!!!Hero #4 JENA NELSON........I believe that a hero is someone who comes into your life and makes such an impact on you that you are never able to see things the way you once did!!! This is what my little friend , Jena did for me. I am sure she is totally unaware of what blessings she brought to me......but although she is no longer in my immediate life.....she will always be in my heart!! Jena brought with her this "light" about her. I saw it the moment i met her. She is the kind of person, one just wants to be around. She was the first person in my life, that taught me about looking deeper into a persons soul.......NOT judging a person by the "wall" or "mask" one puts up to protect oneself with. Sje taught me about unconditional love...and what a "true" friend is all about!!! I never had seen this...to this depth before............!!!! Its funny, when i look back to our time together @ Kendra & Co......all of us felt a sense of "family". The way Jena related to her friends & family around her, was amazing!! She is truly an "OLD SOUL" and i am thankful for ever spending ANY time with such a "wise" little soul. Thank you for showing me your heart!!!!
