Music:

I like what i like. My favorite band is Wilco. I'm into pretty much anything i arbitrarily deem as "good music." Some of my personal favorites are: The Rolling Stones (Beast of Burden is one of the sexiest songs of all time), anything Danzig related - like old Misfits, Samhein, and his solo stuff; Mott the Hoople, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Sweet, T. Rexx, Son Volt, the Cowslingers, Soul Asylum, Kraftwerk, Hum, Motley Crue, Deftones, Foetus, Marilyn Manson, Pop Will Eat Itself, Lou Reed, Radiohead, Belle and Sebastian; Sade, Hope Sandoval (mazzy star). For the most part i think music today sucks, because people today suck. There's so much insincerity that it comes through in the writing. I love local music, and think some of the best bands are bands from ohio - Goodmorning Valentine is the greatest band you've probably never heard, Gil Mantera's Party Dream is the best drunken time you'll have this year.I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff.

Movies:

I just bought a 5 dvd set of old alfred hitchcock movies from the 30's and 40s, which i'm pretty pumped about. I love old black and white movies. Technology has for the greater part spoiled imagination.

Television:

Books:

I read a lot. I read mostly non fiction stuff about history, philosophy, arts and politics, but i do enjoy several fiction authors.... among my favorites are kurt vonnegut, brett easton ellis, thomas mann and bertolt brecht (well his plays)... i'm generally up for anything.

Heroes:
