About Me

A classically trained, but multi-genre influenced musician, Mr. Elinoff has studied with many of the premiere pedagogues in and outside this country, including members of the Emerson, Julliard, American & Huberman string quartets, as well as professors Jonathan Bagg (Duke Univ.), Scott Rawls (UNC-G), Sally Peck (NCSA), Roger Myers (UT) and Donald McInnes (USC), among others.
Mr. Elinoff has lived in Austin, TX since 1998 and has branched out of his classical background, performing frequently with Will Taylor's Strings Attached and can occasionally be seen playing with The Golden Arm Trio. Notably, he as recorded with the Dixie Chicks as well as on the soundtrack to the Richard Linklater film "A Scanner Darkly."
