About Me

I am a violinist and a singer just graduated from University of Texas in Austin for vocal performance, played for the last 3 years with the Austin Symphony, was born and raised in Houston. I just spent a year travelling with Barrage (barrage.org) I've just moved back to A-town and I teach, play with the Hudsons, and gig allll the time. My Interests

music, learning Spanish better, Indian food, Kosher Dill pickles, dancing in my jellyfish-raver-esque fashion, rollercoasters...

Paul McCartney, Leonard Cohen, Cletus the Slack-jawed yokel, this is too hard. moving on.

Music:

I sing in many styles. Opera and jazz are what I studied, but I've been moving in a more modern direction. I like Steely Dan... alot. Beatles, Police, Shuggie Otis, Stevie Wonder, Wayne Shorter, Alison Krauss and Union Station, ya know, the greats of every genre.

Movies:

I like all good movies. I can watch Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Beetlejuice, Amadeus, Shawshank Redemption over and over. And have.

Television:

Don't care. I watch anything. But Arrested Development was especially entertaining to me while it lasted.

Books:

The Stand by Stephen King gave me visuals that make me forget I didn't just watch the movie (for once). Loved Hitchhiker's Guide too. John Irving is good.

Heroes:

My daddy is a hero because he can walk on his hands for like, 5 minutes.
