My name is easy; it’s in my profile. Last name? Well if you know me, you know my last name; if you don’t know it it’s not important.
I am 31-years-old and the proud mother of a 5-year-old. I was born in Corpus Christi, TX; my hometown that I miss very much, but I was raised in Puebla, Mexico. I know a lot of you may not know where that is and probably don’t care, but just in case I’ll tell you. It is located approximately two hours southeast of Mexico City. My paternal grandmother raised me and gave me the best education she could afford. I was able to attend the conservatory of music where I learned to read music and play the violin. I attended only private school until I got to high school. About 3 months after I turned 15, my grandmother and I moved back to Corpus where I attended W.B. Ray High School. I was very shy and wasn’t able to make very many friends, but I started breaking out of my shell by the time I reached my junior year. That is when I decided I would join the newspaper staff. I wrote my first piece on this guy I had a huge crush on. I was very excited to do so and the story was published in the paper. I still have that clipping. They say you have to remember where you came from and well that is my reminder. I later wrote many others. Still my career has yet to take off and that is mostly my fault. Although, my best friend says I am the perfect example of “life happens.†A few of you may know the story.
I do intend to finish my degree since I only have about 15 credit hours left to finish. I don’t know if it will ever happen, but I would love to go to law school.
I currently work for American Airlines in the Passenger Interline Accounting department. I love numbers and it is a fun job for me. I know many would not think so and even though the work can get tedious, it is still enjoyable. I just started though and I don’t know where that path will lead me. I will have to wait and see.
For now I am excited to be where I am and look forward to many more months with them. I can’t say years because as I said before I do not know where that path will lead.
I am involved with someone at the moment that is great and I hope things will work out for us. It is in God’s hands. And I pray it be his will to let it work.
That is all for now. I will try to update this periodically. Thanks for reading.
