Since the mosquito spread diseases West Nile Virus and Encephalitis are now in California, there never have been more reasons to own and use a bug zapper. Don’t let bad bugs ruin crops and spread disease. Zap them. They deserve it. There are also bug zapper rackets, mini bug shooter guns, fly paper, and fly swaters to combat bugs in enviromentaly friendly ways, and all of these products are available at my auctions below. Also Release preying mantises to get rid of the bad bugs that don’t fly (and get rid of even more of the bugs that fly). Lady bugs and lace wings just eat aphids, are attracted to bug zappers, and often land on people and windshields of moving cars, etc, so it's better to spend the money on preying mantises. The preying mantises are smart enough to not get zapped in a bug zapper, and tend to mind their own business and not land on people or moving car windshields. They are kept in the refrigerator of some hardware stores, like orchards supply. Getting rid of standing water also keeps mosquito populations down, and water that is standing and can't be easily gotten rid of can be a great place to put mosquito fish (available for free from the state), or goldfish (Koi) (These domesticated carp have been kept as pets for thousands of years, live for years and years, and can grow to about 12 inches. because of the large size they grow to they are only good for very large amounts of standing water, like ponds or lakes. They are great fish for cold weather, even if they are healthy and frozen solid for less than a day, they will still be alive. They are available at pet stores and are not expensive. They only breed in large bodies of water) And get rid garden snails in environmentally friendly ways such as beer traps or even picking them up and putting them in a bag then squish them or put them in the freezer. But don’t use poison to kill bad bugs. Poison also kills the good bugs, like preying mantises. Use pheromone based moth traps for moth problems in the house, not moth balls (moth balls are poisonous, and they look like candy). If you have an ant hill you want to wipe out, don’t use poison, instead slowly and carefully dump boiling water right at the opening, and burn/drown/cause cave ins for the ants. Since pesticides are strong enough to kill the bugs, then they are probably strong enough to at least slightly hurt us.Sticky traps kill rats mice, and bugs, but are not re usable. Mouse traps kill mice and rats but not bugs and are reusable. Both work well. Keep both away from children and pets. Out of the reach places like behind the refrigerator work great. Don’t use poison, in addition to being probably the most dangerous for children and pets, it also makes the mice and rats die in unknown places, like rotting inside of walls. With mice traps you always know where their bodies are and if you got one. If you put the trap on a small piece of plastic, like a plastic bag, it helps for cleaning up.There should be a worldwide effort to reduce the numbers of pests, and eventually make it so the only places on earth where pests exist, are in high security research laboratories, high security zoos, and in jars of alcohol (to preserve their DNA). Right now that dream is a long way away and the bugs that are pests are in large numbers, so don’t feel bad about killing them, they are probably not going to become extinct any time soon. Buy quarter dispensers.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++E Bay doesn’t allow the sale of firearms, pellet guns, or even non firing firearms replicas, and is strict and uptight beyond all of the strict and uptight laws that already exist. There is no legal reason for them to do this, they are just jerks. With gun broker, if it’s legal, you can sell it, and people are welcome to sell any legal item, even if it has nothing to do with firearms. EBay chargers a ridiculously high 40 cent listing fee for items under $10, and for more expensive items that listing fee is even higher, and you have to pay that listing fee even if your item does not sell. If your item does sell, then there is also a roughly 5% of what the item sold for selling fee. There is no financial reason for them to do this, since they are already rich, (and this scares away sellers and so limits the amount of items people can buy online and drives up the prices of the sellers), EBay is just greedy and heartless. On gun broker there are no listing fees (except if you want fancy style auction listings, like the auction highlighted, or randomly shown on gun broker’s homepage, etc), so there is no risk except for lost time. If the item sells, there is also roughly 5% of what the item sold for selling fee. On eBay, you can only list one photo, and each additional photo costs 15 cents each, on gun broker you can show up to 4 photos for free. EBay is lame as far as both their uptight rules on what you can sell, and their huge fees that cost you money even if the item doesn’t sell. With gun broker if you want to be a seller and have a suspicious email, they charge you a $1 fee for a sellers account, but you get this $1 back if your items sell, (because your first $1 of selling fees are free) This means that buyers are more safe from scams on gun broker, since people doing scams are probably not going to want to pay the $1, and for sellers you get the $1 back eventually if your item sells, and people can trust you more, so no loss their either. The only reason I sell on eBay at all is, my stuff sells about 100 times as fast on eBay. Also with eBay it is easier to divide up text and post links to other auctions, but u can still do this on gun broker it’s just tougher, and gun broker is in the process of changing this. Hopefully buyers and sellers will realize how much better gun broker is, both with respecting the 2nd amendment, and with no listing fees. (There are other firearms auctions out there, like auction arms, but they have a $4 fee for a sellers account, and they only have free auction listings for up to 200 items)++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Recent ly I started selling household items on gun broker, because I want my auctions to also be like a general store. The reason I did this is because some people are elderly, disabled, don’t have a car or a license, are over seas in the military, and/or live too far from a store to walk. Access to mail is much more wide spread than access to stores is, so these people can buy regular household items from my auctions. I ship world wide, to PO boxes, and to military addresses, so there is no where on earth that I won’t ship. If someone is in the army fighting in Iraq and the PX doesn’t have what they want, and they don’t have someone back home to ship them stuff (or don’t want to burden people back home with shipping them stuff) They can order stuff from me, most online retailers won’t ship overseas, and especially won’t ship overseas and to a PO box or military address, but I will.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Pimped out profiles that take a long time to load are the scourge of my space. They jam the computer that is trying to load them and make it so you can’t hit the back button, can’t close the window, you are just stuck there, sometimes for over 5 minutes (with a fast comp and with high speed internet), waiting for the damn profile to load. I would look around more at people's profiles, if not for the fear that I might hit a slow opening pimped out profile. I think if someone’s pimped out profile is taking longer than 10 seconds to load (with a fast comp and with high speed internet) they should get a new one, or go default, default is the fastest! Default might not look as artistic and everything, but the fact that it’s the fastest in my opinion makes it the best. Friends don’t let friends have pimped out profiles that take forever to load. If one of your friends has a slow opening my space page due to it being pimped out, talk to them about it.
