SSO founded in the very late 80ies by keyboard-wizzard STEVE SCHROYDER together with gong-percussionist JENS ZYGAR, the first person ever to perform with a huge gong-orchestra; each instrument tuned to one of the basic frequencies of the planets of our solar system. STEVE started his musical career even much earlier with the legendary Tangerine Dream, some pioneers of electronic music; both musicans united their creative visions within the concepts of the COSMIC OCTAVE, dealing with the expressions of the nature..s harmony within cosmic, spheric ambient and trance music. STAR SOUNDS ORCHESTRA hit various genres in their almost 20 years ongoing underground of the underground carreer, starting from the deep insights of BERLIN SCHOOL, crossing the realms of hard core new age - without loosing heir souls to any guru but to the one source of everything, which is M U S I C! - to contemporary electronic trance music.
