I'd like to meet:

~ MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, businesses ...I have some really great resources and artists collected here, so check 'em out...

------------------------------------------------

NOTE TO MUSICIANS ON MYSPACE: I know that everyone is here to network, connect, etc... and I'm happy to have you and know of your existance... HOWEVER... please do not ask me to SPAM my list in promotion of you! Feel free to promote yourself on my page in the comments area. Please make sure your graphics are sized/ optimized so that it doesn't widen the page or stunt the load time. Also no embedded/ automatic sound. I will delete it. You can post your banners, shows, releases, pics, etc all you want. Networking and promotion is what we're here for, but don't be a pushy salesperson! Mmmkay?

I don't usually deny adds on THIS page - you'd really have to piss me off. Hate the spam shit like everyone else. But I love the free market that myspace and the internet in general provides. People trying to promote their music or business, that's great. Just don't overdo it and bombard me. I don't like to intentionally hurt people's feelings by telling them I don't like their music. I'm not into screamo/ death metal and such. I'm not an asshole, unless you're an asshole. Promote, but please don't attempt to sell me anything ...no it's not the same thing... and don't send me anything religion related or talk sexy to me.

Furthermore, we don't have to have deep conversations to be 'myspace buddies' or to enjoy each others' music. Most people on this page I don't talk to regularly, hardly ever or never, and it's not a big deal... it's a networking site people, get real. As everyone knows, for musicians the goal is for more people to become aware of you and listen to your songs.

Anyone who might like to hear my music: Craziblue

Music:

I like a wide variety of music... but generally speaking...

Rock, classic and acoustic, mellow stuff, I especially love solo singer/songwriters and folky stuff, alternative, oldies, indie stuff, (there are a million indies I like).

In smaller doses: punk, pop, r&b, jazz, some rap, hip hop; if I'm in the mood and environment then whatever works to dance to. It just depends on the song. I'm not into death metal or screamo.

There are hundreds of artists I like, thousands even. Some of my all time favorites... if I was stuck on a deserted island and I could only choose all the music from 10 artists I would probably bring... Jack Johnson, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Beatles, Bob Dylan, Sublime, Nirvana, Smashing Pumkins, Pink Floyd, Fiona Apple... I think...

Movies:

Natural Born Killers

Television:

Survivor, Lost, CSI

Books:

Last books I read: Internet Marketing for Musicians
