Timid men prefer the calm of depostism to the tempestuous sea of liberty.

About Me

I'm laid back, fun, witty, kind of shy, but easy to talk to different kinds of people. I believe in the individual, not a part of the group that you happen to fit in, and I respect all people, just as I want to be respected. I have never been married, and I will marry only once, or else grow old being single. I am confident, but not conceited; but I have only one teenage daughter who I love more than myself. I marked the "Here for:" box "Friends", but if you are a certian kind of girl (but I don't know the exact meaning of "certian" quite yet), I'm open for suggestions :)

My Interests

sports (especially basketball, football, and boxing), singing and playing 4 other instruments (but singing and playing harmonica and piano is what I do best), reading and writing, writing music, law (especially our Founding Documents), hand gun shooting, weight lifting; but most of all, living free.

I'd like to meet:

Someone like me who has a PASSION for LIBERTY!! Liberty, for me, is a philosophy which means every individual shall have unlimited freedom in their own lives, freeedom to live in whatever matter they choose, freedom to pursue their own goals, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal freedoms of others to do the same. Remember, if you want liberty for yourself, you have to give liberty to everyone else, even though if you don't agree with someone else's views. I actually do live in liberty, which means I do things which doesn't hurt a sole, but the American government (i.e., Gestapo) wants to use coercion against my thoughts and actions. Thomas Jefferson once said, "I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man!" Did the government violate Jefferson's creed? I will let you to figure it out for yourselves."We're from the government, and we're here to help you!"..

Music:

My favorites are Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top...any classic rock and blues band, but I like all kinds of music! Free Bird Mp3 Mp3 Downloads | Music Codes | Mp3 Players

Movies:

A Few Good Men, America: Freedom To Fascism, V for Vendetta, Rocky, An Officer and a Gentleman"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

Television:

All I watch on TV is news shows, sports (mainly Sooner football and men's and women's basketball), financial advice shows, Saturday Night Live, and Desperate Housewives--but I really don't watch TV that much

Books:

The Creature from Jekyll Island, Fail-Safe Investing, Atlas Shrugged, Good To Be King, Attention Deficit Democracy, Foreign Policy of Freedom; but mainly I read freedom-oriented publications on the Web

Heroes:

My heros are people who earn a living doing something in which they have a passion (e.g., Magic Johnson and Michael Jordon, Steven Tyler, Rocky Marciano, Sherri Coale, Jacob Hornberger, Ian Bernard, Dave Champion). Also, people who are intelligent enough to think for themselves, make decisions for themselves, and take responsibility for their actions; instead of people who lie back and let someone else take care of them, think for them, and make decisions for them, especially government officials who want to rule over our lives! Government control is antithesis of liberty, even if the bureaucrats say they continue to infringe on our liberties on account of they want you to have "security". In the famous words of Patrick Henry: "Give me liberty, or give me death!", although most 21st century Americans would say, "Give me security; I'm scared to death!" I want, and the government would allow, both!
