'The Good James Is In The Black Lodge'

About Me

Working while attempting to get my writing noticed by the powers that be!
My long term goal is to write for Television and Film and maybe get a novel or novella written...
CURRENT PROJECTS
Powerless - Jack Burton has fucked up his life, all because of a girl. He spends his days working a dead end job in a warehouse with his friend and housemate Walt. He spends his night sitting in his car outside of his ex-girlfriends flat, hoping that she might come over to him, hoping that he might get the courage to go and knock on her door and convince her that their relationship is worth saving... even though it has been over for six months. Then one fateful night, a stolen car and a bolt of lightning changes Jack's fate forever and throws him into the path of a manic, suicidal depressive named Cate. Love, loss, suicide and superpowers!
The Girl At The Centre Of Creation - A girl discovers that there is a secret war going on behind the brick wall between good an evil as they battle for her soul. For she is the balance that keeps the world the way it is.
Nowhere Land - Hope Falls is empty, everyone has gone. Not a soul is left, not a soul except those belonging to Jack Burton and a 16 year old girl named Bethany who is looking for her family. Where has everyone gone? As the two attempt to find their loved ones, they discover that something sinister lurks after dark that may answer that question for them...
Darkness Rising - The Violent Crimes Division is Scotland Yard's newest unit. It is the UK's answer to the FBI'S own VCD and issues all of its detectives with handguns as they concentrate their efforts on tracking down the countries serial murderers, mass murderers and spree killers - something that has increased since the millennium began. A suspense thriller, one hour mystery drama with a hint of the supernatural and a layer of surrealism ala Python and Twin Peaks and a hint of post millennium tension - the darkness is rising!
Memory Lane - Feature film.
The Black Sheep Boy - A painter finds himself lost inside his own head.
PREVOUSLY
The Lonely Ones - A short story about the last vampire in the last city on earth just as death is about to swallow both. Based upon Thom Gunns 'In Praise of Cities'. This short appeared in a US literay zine called Revelation, and subsequently went on to be collected in an anthology book entitled Revelation Volume 1.
Short films - INSIDES - I was involved in the making of several short films during University and went on to co write a short film entitled 'Insides' with its director Dan Gitsham which did pretty good at a bunch of festivals.
Namaste!
