About Me
INTERNATIONAL BALLET OF HOUSTON is an elite training facility for pre-professional dancers aspiring to pursue a professional career in dance. IBH also is responisble for managing dancers such as Rolando Sarabia and Daniel Sarabia (Miami City Ballet) and IBH alumni Kaitlyn Kinerk (Freelance), and Stephanie Hill (Ballet Florida). Last Season our dancers received contracts to Cincinnati Ballet, BalletMet Columbus, Louisville Ballet, Ballet Florida, Sarasota Ballet, Ballet Austin II, Ajkun Ballet Theatre, and Ballet de Printemps. We had 5 dancers qualify to the National Finals of the Youth America Grand Prix and won a total of 6 prizes at regional semi-finals including ’Outstanding Choreographer’ Richard d’Alton. Our dancers also received scholarships to prestigious schools such as Texas Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theare, Orlando Ballet, and Ballet Austin. This season our dancers have been accepted to Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, The Rock School for Dance Education, and Princeton Ballet School, official school of American Repertory Ballet. In March 2008 IBH Alumni Kaitlyn Kinerk and IBH Dancer David Nava represented the United States of America at the 5th Rudolf Nureyev International Ballet Competition in Budapest, Hungary. In July 2008 they will travel to Varna, Bulgaria to compete in the 23rd International Ballet Competition. David Nava has been offered a contract with Sarasota Ballet, Director Iain Webb, for the 2008/2009 season. We are commited to training the best dancers in the Houston area. 20and%20Child%20Reunion.htmWe have Open Ballet Class Tuesday through Friday 6:00 p.m to 7:30 p.m and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. $15 non-professional, $10 professional. The IBH program is $600 per month and includes: Daily Ballet Class, Director’s Choice Class (pointe, variation, pas de deux, jazz, competition preparation) plus one Private Lesson per week. Please note that this program is geared toward dancers training to pursue a career (or college plan) in dance.
