Katie, Principal

What has been the highlight of your career with Ballet Etudes?
How much I have achieved, improved, and grown as a dancer. It really feels like I have come so far and its helped me get places I have always dreamed about.

How do you overcome obstacles in your dancing/training?
If I feel stuck in my dancing, I push through in my head and look toward what I really want to accomplish. That helps me to move through and continue to grow.

Do you plan on dancing professionally?
Absolutely, it's just getting accepted into a company now that I have work for. Everyday though I keep that thought in the back of my head, while dancing or even when im not, I'm always thinking about getting to that level and obtaining that goal.

What will you take away from your Ballet Etudes experience when you graduate and leave us in May?
Everything about competition, how to stand out, and all the experiences I have gone through. I will take all the training and use it to my best abilities in dance and also for teaching.
