Presentation:Gileno Pegada iN Kudekalango is Gileno “Pegada†Gomes´ first musical recording but it doesn’t seem to be his first such is the expertise which he shows in his work. Gileno is basically an artist of the rhythm, of the groove, da Pegada, as we say in Brazil. Gileno has a huge experience with Midi programming and it is rare to find a Bahia’s Axé Music singer that doesn’t include an arrangement created by him in his repertoire. In Gileno´s work as an independent author one should not look for complex melodies or a perfect and tuned voice, but rather listen to his rhythm, swing, and irreverence. His aim in the present recording is to invite the hearer to shake his hips and dance. This does not mean that we shall not find here also special intricate plays in his CD lyrics. Gileno Pegada is the great novelty in the current Bahia’s pop music and he’s ready to take off because he already has strong and consolidated wings.Ruy Penalva

Não procurem neste Gileno autoral a perfeição de melodias complexas ou uma voz perfeita e hiper-afinada, procurem de preferência ritmo, balanço, irreverência. Este é um disco feito basicamente para dançar, mas nem por isso deixa de mostrar conteúdo em diversas letras do trabalho. Gileno Pegada é a grande novidade da música baiana atual e está pronto para voar, pois já tem asas fortemente consolidadas.
