CARLA QUADROS – INTERPRETER AND COMPOSERShe is from Bahia and she made her first debut in 1984 as a rock singer. With a peculiar and marking voice, she made shows in theaters, renowned bars in Salvador and participated in various festivals. In 1997, she won the Top Teen Festival, MPB category, and the result was the recording of a CD. Musically eclectic, she started a new stage of work in 1990, linking various musical styles with her personal touch in arrangements and repertory.She produced and interpreted the following shows: “Guardiã do Temporais” – “Troféu Caymmi” – “concha acústica / TCA” – 1993 “Devaneios” – “Atlântico Café Teatro” – 2000 – BA “Improviso” – Praça Quincas Berro D’Água – Pelourinho – 2000 – BA Gothe Bar and Restaurant – 2003 – BA “Anúncio” – “Troféu Caymmi” – SESI theater – 2001 – BA “Portais” – “Troféu Caymmi” – Rock in Rio Café – 2003 – BA “Sem Métrica” - Praça Quincas Berro D’Água – Pelourinho – 2005 – BAIn the year 2000, while she was on a tour around Europe in search of new musical tendencies, she presented MPB musical shows in Italy, in Buskeres Festival, in the cities of Ferrara, Castelaro, Bergamanero, Bologna and in Switzerland, in the city of Basel, she presented three shows: ADEP (Portuguese Emigrantes Association) “Champions Café Sport” Latin América Cultural MeetingHer trip around Europe rendered the following comments:Italy “If one voice is good to hear, two become poetry. It is the miracle of the Brazilian rhythm. We were taken by surprise when we passed by the Savonorela square and saw Josy Nogueira (an artist who the population went to listen to), together with another notable voice of Carla Quadros, a lady from Bahia in passing, beside him; who joined the group.
