About Me
LAURA JANE is a multifaceted well diversed singer, songwriter, a performer with an electricity onstage that can stand up to the best. It's no wonder she started as a young child singing in an opera company at the tender age of ten years and now she rocks arenas and stadiums singing besides superstars like ENRIQUE IGLESIAS.She was a creative little girl, constantly writing poetry, short stories, learning piano, she got into dance and then theatre. She did commercials as a teenager and worked in community theatre. She then graduated from high school and attended some of the best performing arts schools in the world - THE BOSTON CONSERVATORY and THE UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS in Philadelphia. She graduated with a BFA in theatre with round training to music, dance and acting. Shortly after she already accrued a resume having recorded with BILLY PAUL , DEXTER WANSEL , KENNY GAMBLE and LEON HUFF of the legendary TSOP and had worked in regional theatre doing LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, European tours of HAIR and national tours of HARLEM RENAISSANCE and TWIST working with Broadway stars Ron Richardson, Greg Burge and Andrea McCardle. Her eclectic taste and diversity brought her to LA where she found herself working with stars like AALIYAH, TEENA MARIE, JESSICA SIMPSON, JADA PINKETT SMITH, ANASTACIA, KELLY CLARKSON, THE WHISPERS, JEFFREY OSBOURNE, HOWARD HEWITT, TAYLOR DAYNE AND ENRIQUE IGLESIAS and most recently PERRY FARRELL OF Janes Addiction in his new band called Satellite Party. These experience have led her around the world performing and sharing stages with people like Celine Dion, Sting, Corrine Bailey Rae, Destiny's Child, David Foster, Yolanda Adams, Sting, Josh Groban , Jose Feliciano, Shakira and Kanye West.Laura Jane has always been a talented songwriter- her sometimes poetic lyrics and talent for melodies helped her to birth a respected indie album. Working with Xavier Dephreppaulezz of BLACK BALL UNIVERSE - the two created and interesting quilt of sonic sounds and melody that gained international airplay and respected reviews featuring interesting tracks like the jazzy SUMMERTIME IN THE CITY and the BUZZ - not to mention the brazilian percussion tracks featuring GILMAR GOMES. Laura jane was approached by internationally known house DJ Irene and collaborated on a song that hit dance charts QUEEN OF MY HEART. She also had a song called EVERYTHING CHANGES on a indie film soundtrack called THEY WOULD LOVE YOU IN FRANCE.Besides all this Laura jane continues to diversify herself and her vocals have been featured on infomercials, commercials and video games for XBOX and
NINTENDO. Laura Jane has an eye for spotting talent no matter what genre and this unique ability has led her to work with other folks like guitar gods Richie Kotzen, NUNO Bettencourt, Stevie Salas, and vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, and MARVA KING.Laura Jane continues to work and write and create along with touring the world, She is currently working on a new solo album as well as recording with MARVA KING on a new project. "Contemporary soul from Laura Jane -- a west coast diva who gets some great production help here from Blackball Universe! Laura's got a vocal style that's sweet and light -- but nicely held down to earth through an assortment of heavier beats and keys that give the album a strong contemporary crossover feel. Titles include the glistening "Summertime In The City", which has some nicely changed-up rhythms -- plus the tracks "Laura Left", "The Call", "The Journey", "Domino Effect", and "The Buzz"."_____________________________________________________

Enrique's Valentine's Day Gift
"One stand-out number was a sexy duet with backup singer, Laura, who delivered a powerful version of the Whitney Houston duet "Could I Have This Kiss Forever" as the two artists...." - 'LA RITMO.COM'__________________________________________________
_______________________MTV INDIA REVIEW "Things got steamy when backing vocalist Laura joined in on "Could I Have This Kiss Forever," which combined with her competent voice and bootylicious body (Enrique slipped his hand inside her sarong) made the evening hotter than it already was. Much screaming and yelling from teenage/old/young boys."______________________________________________________
