Biography
El segundo de los tres hijos de Yaco Monty, el famoso cantante Argentino, Monty comenzó su carrera a muy temprana edad. Debutó en la TV cuando apenas tenía siete años, y para cuando tenía 20 años ya había conseguido su primer contrato de grabación y lanzó dos álbumes en su natal Argentina. Despues de un tiempo se mudo a Los Angeles para crecer como compositor y musico y en 2005 tuvo el gran honor de que su cancion “Luchare Por Tu Amorâ€? fuera grabada por Alejandro Fernandez. Monty es un muy prolífico compositor y puede escribir todo género de música, desde Pop ,rock, pero es su amor por el soul, el funk, el rock y el R&B lo que más lo inspira cuando compone material para su propio proyecto como solista.
En 2003 tomó parte en el exitoso show de Telemundo “Protagonistas De La Músicaâ€?, quien en esa época usaba su nombre completo de Facundo Monty, y fue su talento como cantante, compositor y músico que lo impulso a ser uno de los cinco finalistas. Sus presentaciones en “Protagonistasâ€? le crearon una sólida base de fans en todo el país y regularment hace presentaciones en Los à ngeles, Puerto Rico, Nueva York y Miami.
Recientemente Monty terminó la grabación de un álbum de estudio – “Ellaâ€? – cuyos temas, todos de su propia inspiración, tienen sabor Latino/Soul/R&B y para ese disco se reunió a un “cuerpo de ensueñoâ€? de productores, co-autores, directores de video y fotógrafos. Tres de las obras fueron grabadas, compuestas y producidas en Atlanta junto con “Trickyâ€? Stewart de Redzone Entertainment quien es mejor conocido por su trabajo con artistas como Britney Spears, Mya, Tyresse, Avant, y recientemente con RHIANA ,CELINE DION . El resto del disco fue terminado en Burbank por el productor y ganador del Grammy Gustavo Borner, quien ha trabajado con grandes artistas Latinos incluyendo a Diego Torres, Sin Bandera, y Alejandro Fernández. El video del primer sencillo, “Ella (Amor A Primera Vista)â€?, fue filmado en Los à ngeles por Sergio Granados, de Los Diamantes, quien ha dirigido videos para artistas como Café Tacaba, Julieta Venegas, Molotov, Kinky y Juanes. Finalmente, para cerrar el círculo del “lookâ€? de Monty, se contrató al fotógrafo Chris Cuffaro cuyas sujetos incluyen a Iggy Pop, Dave Navarro, Morrisey, No Doubt, Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers y LL Cool J.
Monty prepara una gira por Los Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico para demostrar su único estilo vocal y su increíble habilidad como guitarrista. His appearance on Protagonistas garnered him a solid fan base across the country and he regularly gigs in Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, New York and Miami.

Monty recently completed the production of a full length studio album "Ella," comprised entirely of his own Latin-flavored soul/R&B material, with a "dream team" of producers, co-writers, video directors and photographers. Three tracks were co-written and produced in Atlanta by "Tricky" Stewart of Redzone Entertainment -- best known for his work with artists such as Britney Spears, Mya, Tyresse, Rihanna, Avant, and more recently RHIANA.CELINE DION The remaining 8 tracks were completed in Los Angeles by Grammy-winning producer Gustavo Borner, who has worked with many Latin powerhouses including Diego Torres, Sin Bandera, and Alejandro Fernandez.
The music video for Monty's first single "Ella (Amor a Primera Vista)" was shot in Los Angeles by Sergio Granados of Los Diamante who has directed videos for artists such as Café Tacuba, Julieta Venegas, Molotov, Kinky and Juanes. Finally, to bring Monty's "look" full circle, photographer Chris Cuffaro, whose portfolio credits include Iggy Pop, Dave Navarro, Morrissey, No Doubt, Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers and LL Cool J, was hired to take photos.
