For "Random Play" click through 1st "friend" in my top Friends List: "D.J.TimTayshuns (All Music Page)" - also, please send any music info to that site. Thanks! X ...I now have close to 1000 vinyl records to play on my 1970 model Zenith Stereo cabinet (which I carelessly busted the needle of recently during some debaucherous revelry with friends) I've since picked up turn-tables and a mixing board and have a moderate, but very fun set up at my place : )We were probably spinning some of the following (and not some of the following): The Pixies (Black Francis and Kim Deal rule), Stone Roses, Cocteau Twins, Smiths, Cure, Dead Can Dance, This Mortal Coil, Love n Rockets, Tones on Tale, JMC, The Crystal Castles, The Cramps, My Bloody Valentine, Aesop Rock, Jimmy LaVelle, The Incredible Jimmy Smith, Tricky, TV on the Radio, Martina Topley-Bird, Tristeza, Blonde Redhead, AzureRay, Frou Frou, DJ Spooky, Del (+)..., G-Love, The Killers, Flogging Molly, White Stripes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Death Cab, Weezer, The Bloc Party, Beck, Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, The Breeders, Orchestral Maneuvars in the Dark, Matisyahu, Modest Mouse, Belle and Sebastian, Panda Riot, Royksopp, Silversun Pickups, The Get Up Kids, Tegan & Sara, Sigur Ros, Gus Gus, Air, Galaxy 500, The Doves, The Cranes, Joy Division, The Album Leaf, Xmal Deutchland, X, DM, The Sundays, The Rentals, Saosin, Portishead, The Postal Service, Olive, Julie Cruz, Nouvelle Vague. I also like pretty much anything ever put out on 4AD Label, and really groove to: 94.9 Big Sonic Chill with Midori.
I can shake it to: Fat bottom funk, 80's/Goth/Industrial/Jazz/Blues/Rythm/D&B/ Trance/ DanceHall/Shoegaze and whatever else I may be feeling at the moment: which sometimes includes Bauhaus, Bad Brains, Skinny Puppy and other light or dark, ambient or noise core. I can listen to Peni and O.L.D when I'm pent up, or even Napalm Death. Also, Blackalicious turns me on ...but I'm kinda into ethereal-dream-pop-bliss right now.
...oh, and "Quitting Smoking for Dummies"
