Smoking Garden Two_Transference (

Anja Kaufmann ) is the continued exploration of the idea that naturally occurring frequencies between 3k and 5k (birdsong) effect a plant’s intake of surrounding nutrients. This piece creates a connection between sound, nature and the encroaching effects of humankind on plant growth as it relates to urban agriculture. Think about how natural city sounds could effect the growth of plants for better or worse.
This installation is being shown at Galerie Califia, Horazdovice, CZ until September 2007.
