Born in 1982 in Trieste ( Italy), I started working with turntables in 1999.
After some years spent into studying scratch and beatjuggling techniques, I got into the organization of various events and gigs with dj G-biz, and soon became the reference for HipHop parties in the Italian part of Switzerland. This gave me the opportunity to meet many Italian Hiphop artists, such as Vaitea, talented Mc/singer, who I am actually collaborating with.
In 2004 I moved to Paris to pursue my art studies, but also started performing live with Qtrio, the Quinn Brothers jazz/drum ‘n bass trio (www.qtrio.ch).
What started as a simple live collaboration has evolved into the creation of new tracks and, to me, has become a quest for new musical possibilities as a dj.
My never ending interest for djing techniques has lead me to participating to French 2006 DMC, competing against dj Netik and dj Fly and ending up with a 4th place.
At the same time, working with Qtrio has led me to dig deeper into the interaction between typical dj sounds (mostly scratches) and other musical genres such as Jazz, Jungle and Drum’n Bass.
Technique and musicality meet into my style to create a synergy which allows me to discover, study and understand a more complex and musical aspect of djing, which is actually, with turntables techniques, my main interest
