WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
Marriage is supposed to be a life-time commitment. Isn't it?
The trend in America is such now that your chances to succeed in marriage are 40% in your first marriage and 25% in your second one!
Will the new new generation growing under the present trend be able to appreciate marriage and family as a life-time commitment?
"DIVORCE IS NOT THE ANSWER"
OUR PURPOSE:
To re-emphasize the importance of marriage and family as a life-time commitment in the minds of the young people of America and help those that are married to reverse the toxic trend of divorce.
WHO ARE WE?
- A simple family who have been bitten by the pain of divorce and family dysfunctionality. No one is totally innocent or totally guilty.
- We have a fire in our hearts!!! We want to use our pain to help others avoid the mistakes that broke our family apart.
THIS IS WHAT WE BELIEVE:
- The kids of the 60% of divorced families deserve from adult parents better than what they are getting right now.
- Most problems in a marriage can be resolved with love, forgiveness, the help of God, and the use of effective comunication skills.
- "Moving on" does not eliminate the problem - it simply eliminates the symptoms... for a little while!
- We all meet, over and over again, the same people we run away from!
- Marriage and family should be a life-time commitment and divorce should be the exception, not the norm!
- It is worth the struggle to keep a mariage and a family together.
- Rather than dealing with our own problems and those of others we use divorce to run away from them!
- Divorce has become the modern ultimate "pain killer" because "growth" is just too painful!
